What is the problem?
The Schmidt Firm, PLLC is nationally recognized as a class action law firm. However, our lawyers are not filing a class action lawsuit for victims of vape explosions. Instead, we are filing individual lawsuits.
About Class Actions
When a lot of people have similar legal claims, class actions help resolve the litigation as efficiently as possible. The members join together, choose a “class representative,” and use that case to argue for compensation on behalf of everyone who was injured. Any compensation awarded is shared equally after lawyers take a fee.
Why Our Law Firm is Filing Individual Lawsuits as Opposed to a Class Action
A class action can have serious disadvantages for individuals with severe injuries from defective products. Class actions maximize efficiency rather than compensation for individual plaintiffs. Members may also have to accept “low-ball” settlements or massive fees.
Our law firm helps victims of vape explosions seek justice from manufacturers who sell dangerous products. If you decide to file a lawsuit, you could receive compensation for your injury, medical expenses, disfigurement, lost income, and more.
