September 23, 2022 — Kroger stores in 3 states have pulled dozens of different vegetable items from the deli and produce sections due to a risk of food poisoning.
Kroger stores in Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama recalled dozens of items after being notified that a product tested positive for Listeria monocytogenes, according to their supplier, GHGA.
The recalled vegetable items were sold in clear plastic containers, mostly in the deli and produce sections of the stores.
They were distributed on September 11, 2022, and are no longer available for purchase, but consumers may still have them at home.

- Mild Guacamole Blender
- Mushroom Stir Fry Blend
- Seasoned Squash Onion & Dill
- Small Medium Hatch Chile Pico de Gallo
- Small Ranch Tray with Dip
- Snacking Peppers
- Spicy Guacamole Blender

- 3 Skewer Veggie Kabobs

The FDA warns that Listeria infections can be serious and sometimes deadly. Healthy people may have symptoms like a high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain or diarrhea. Infected pregnant women may suffer a miscarriage or stillbirth.
