Fisher-Price Recalls Stroller Toys for Choking Hazard
In April 2025, Fisher-Price announced a recall for about 253,000 Brunch & Go Stroller Toys that can break apart into small pieces that pose choking hazards for young children.
What is the Problem?
The problem is that the round yolk of the plastic egg toy can break into small pieces, and a child could choke if they swallow the small pieces. According to the recall:
“The yolk of the toy egg can crack and create small parts, posing a choking hazard to young children.”
Were Any Children Injured?
No injuries were reported, but there were two reports of infants who were found with small pieces of the broken egg yolk toy in their mouths. These were “close-calls” for infants who could have choked.
Fisher-Price said there were 5 reports of the toy egg yolk cracking and breaking into small pieces. “In two reports, an infant had a small piece in their mouth,” according to the recall.
How To Identify Recalled Stroller Toys
Fisher-Price Brunch & Go Stroller Toys are designed to be attached to strollers to entertain babies and young children. The toys are breakfast-themed, with a toast plushie above a dangling plastic egg.
The model number (HGB85) is located on the tag attached to the toast. The toy features a pretend avocado toast and three attachments: a mirror tomato, a crinkle bacon and an egg teether.
They were sold nationwide from February 2022 through March 2025 at stores like Hobby Lobby, Kohl’s, Macy’s, Marshalls, Nordstrom, Ross, TJMaxx Walmart, and Amazon.com.
What Should I Do?
Fisher-Price is urging customers to immediately stop using the recalled stroller toys, keep them away from children, and contact Fisher-Price for information on how to get a free replacement.
