Cardarine belongs to a group of drugs called Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators (SARMs). Cardarine Linked to Cancer in Animal Studies
Cardarine was discovered during a research collaboration between Ligand Pharmaceuticals and GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) that began in 1992. GSK abandoned the drug in 2007 because animal testing showed that Cardarine caused cancer to develop rapidly at low doses and promoted cell death in the liver. GSK has discontinued research.
