Why Is Listeria So Dangerous?

For high-risk people, food poisoning with Listeria is dangerous due to the risk of an invasive infection. This occurs when Listeria spreads beyond the digestive system to other parts of the body and causes a bloodstream infection (sepsis), meningitis, or death.

Can I File a Food Poisoning Lawsuit?

Food poisoning lawsuits can be filed by people who were infected with Listeria after eating food products that were recalled. These lawsuits are typically individual lawsuits, rather than a class action.
