Vaccines and Guillain-Barré Syndrome
Every year, thousands of people are diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS), but only a few hundred cases are associated with vaccines. About 1 or 2 cases occur for every 1 million people who are vaccinated.
